Perfumes, scents, fragrances can provoke and inspire so many emotions, feelings, memories. They are so rich in creating a world by themselves. They can brighten your day, if it’s the right scent. They can arouse your deep senses. They create a history, each one with their own. Some are for a lifetime, classics. Some remind you of home, of when you went to Paris, of a person, of the person you love or once loved. Some are for the every day, nothing special. I don’t like wearing those anymore; I want every day to be special. Scents allow, encourage, nurture dreams. Some are just for selected instances, never to be worn again. Some bring back bad memories; they have to be given away. Some are not for you. Some can make you like a person more than you normally would, or the other way around, despise said person. They can stay with you for so long, in such a way, that if someone just happens to swish by you, you turn to recognize where it came from. You know exactly where you last felt it. I am not a perfume maniac, but lately I do enjoy a wide diversity of very different scents. It may be due to my personality always seeking something new, exciting, diverse, that makes me love a few fragrances, I couldn’t have one for a lifetime.
