There is nothing I love more than to travel; travel to a stylish international location, where I can also relish at the decor of a beautiful hotel. In other words, my eclectic style is most gratified with global inspired pieces that unravel the story of my travels. Travel and stylish design really go well together, I think. It’s happened to me so many times, I am out of fingers to count on. I’ve stayed at a fabulous hotel, while on vacation, and fell in love with the décor, and more precisely, with certain furniture pieces in said hotel. Be it a trendy boutique hotel, or a historical landmark hotel, I never dreamed I could dare ask, or better yet, own one of those pieces. If the desired item is not available for purchase, their expert interior designers can advise on suitable alternatives, of similar look & quality.
And the fact that you can acquire high quality exemplars of any style, ranging from mid 19th century and Art Nouveau, to the fin-de-siécle Viennese, to Art Deco and Bauhaus, all the way to Scandinavian Modernism is truly impressive. Customers, such as myself, that enjoy a combination of both modern and vintage, will be most satisfied. As for Yoco Nagamiya’s illustrations … amazing!
