There are 300.000 expats in Shanghai. This weekend we found many of them in Bar Rouge and Mr & Mrs Bund, two amazing bars on the Bund. Not knowing what to expect, randomly walking in, following people’s advice to go there, we found some of the most good-looking posh people I’ve personally seen in a good while, including in New York. Business people, cool youngsters, fashionistas, models, artist types, they were all there, very European and US mix. Extremely stylish Chinese girls. Everyone studying everyone. It was like expats reunion. This is where you all were? Friday night hosted a somewhat of a party hats and wigs theme in a large sort of a student’s hall with great music, great vibe. The outside weather and view were just perfect. Saturday, in Bar Rouge, dressed up boys and girls danced the night away in all red lights. Clubs stay open until morning in Shanghai. Mr DJ, thumbs up!
