Georgetown: a colorful architectural gem in New England

While everyone is giddy with excitement over the extended Centennial Cherry Blossom Festival, in full swing until April 27th, you should also consider taking a short bus ride into Georgetown. Strolling through it, you will discover the charming 200 year-old restored row houses, painted in vibrant colors and beautified with lovely gardens. Reminiscent of English and Swiss architecture, this neighborhood has become a vivacious community with upscale shops, bars and restaurants along the cobblestone streets surrounding Georgetown University. I am very much fond of the below colorful houses.
